My Story
Learning to Live Life Simply
If you are struggling with clutter you are not alone.
“Clutter is not just the stuff on the floor, but anything that stands between you and the life you wish to be living.”
I have been both excited and scared to death to write this blog. On one hand, I appear to be organized, but inside my heart, I know I am so far from where I want to be. Writing this blog is to share my journey to simplicity.
I’m not at all perfect. I have decluttered and reorganized so many areas of my home, only to have them return to a mess. But, sometimes I find things that actually work! I love reading and watching “real” people who are working towards a goal I share. And, I would love to be that person for you.
If you are ready to tackle the clutter in your life – and that can mean so many things- let’s take this journey together.

Meet Sara Lee.
Owner + Designer
I’ve always been drawn to a more minimal life, but I kept putting off the real work it takes to reach it. Juggling family responsibilities and ignoring the fact that we were consuming way too much created chaos in our home and my life. It wasn’t until a health scare wrecked my world and made me re-evaluate every aspect of my life that I became focused on simplicity.
Nothing will scare you more than a sudden and unexpected health issue. Suddenly, simplifying and organizing became not only a passion but a deeper need to create calm externally because internally I was a mess. I decided that if I had to face a diagnosis that would change me in more ways than one, I wanted to give my family the gift of a simple home to care for if I was unable to.

Support Staff
This guy is my support team. He can bump tripods, make messes, stand in boxes I am trying to use for a photo, and whine in videos, but he’s my partner in crime. He is often right next to me while I write. I couldn’t do this without him:)
