Spider Webs / Spiders
These are my favorite indoor spider webs. They stretch for days and they have a realistic texture and look. Also, plastic spiders really stick to them and don’t fall out. (Quick Tip: Buy webs at the end of the Halloween season and tuck them away for next year. I found all of my webs on sale last year for $1.99 a bag!)

These little guys allow you to mix up your webs with various sizes and there are enough that you can spread them around a large web or add them to small webs throughout your house. Also, they last year after year. I store mine in a ziplock bag and pull them out every October.
2. Banners

Banners are a great add to your decoration stash. You can add them to doorways, across windows and even use them to decorate your fireplace. My banners have been with me for years and I usually combine them with some spiders and webs to make them pop. Get creative! They are also a way to theme your decor. I have seen some that have scarier feels if you want to go with a haunted house.
3. Table Cloths and Decor
Here is a peek at my table this year. There are things I would change, but this decor has kind of become a tradition in our family. The favorite part of this decor is definitely the Halloween advent calendar that I picked up years and years ago at Pottery Barn Kids. I checked back for you to find a similar one, but they don’t quite have the haunted house look. If you think your kids might be too old for this type of thing, think again… my senior in high school still checks the little door every single morning. So if you want to make this Halloween special, start with some simple decor. I promise, everyone will love it!

4. Rats, Bats and Spiders (oh my)
Here is how I use paper and wooden silhouettes of rats, bats and spiders to create different effects in my simple decor. Often times these types of decorations are reusable- if you’re careful -and they are easy to grab at a discount at the end of Halloween if you need to replace some.
